Everything people want to know before a truck moves. Pricing, accident rights, special vehicles and coverage. Deeper reading lives in the guides.

Booking & pricing
How fast can HaulKing get to me?

It depends where you are and where the trucks are, and you get the honest number on the first call, not a marketing promise. Sydney metro response is typically well under an hour, 24/7.

How much does towing cost in Sydney?

Accident tows are price-regulated in NSW; everything else is quoted before the truck moves, based on distance, vehicle, access and time of day. The full breakdown is in our cost guide, and the price you hear is the price on the invoice.

Do you operate on weekends and public holidays?

Every hour of every day. The number is answered by the operator, not an answering service, and after-hours premiums are quoted up front.

Can I book online instead of calling?

Yes. The booking form takes three steps and photos help us bring the right setup. Urgent jobs should always call: a conversation is faster than a form at 2am.

At an accident
Do I have to use the tow truck that shows up at the scene?

No. In NSW you choose the operator and where the vehicle goes, unless police direct a tow for safety. Never sign a towing authorisation form with a blank destination.

Will insurance cover the tow?

Comprehensive policies typically cover reasonable accident towing. We provide an itemised invoice and scene photos that make the claim straightforward.

Where should my damaged car be taken?

Wherever you nominate. Your repairer, the insurer's assessor, or home. We don't steer cars to yards that charge storage; that racket is half the reason this business exists.

Special vehicles
How low can a car be and still get loaded?

Our trays lay down to a 4-degree load angle, which is the figure that actually decides it — the approach angle matters more than clearance alone. Send a photo with the booking and we arrive set up for it.

Do you tow AWD and 4WD vehicles?

Yes. Always fully on the tray. Towing an all-wheel drive with wheels rolling damages the driveline, which is why we don't own a wheel-lift.

How do you secure prestige cars?

Soft straps through the wheels to rated deck points, padded contact everywhere, and a photo condition report before loading and after delivery. Hooks and chains never touch bodywork.

Can you move a car that doesn't run, roll or steer?

Yes. Winches, wheel dollies and patience handle non-runners, seized brakes and accident damage. Tell us what doesn't work so we bring the right gear.

Coverage
Which areas do you cover?

All of Greater Sydney, 24/7. From the CBD and Eastern Suburbs to the Hills, the Shire, the Beaches and the growth corridors. Interstate transport runs by arrangement.

Do you go interstate?

Yes. Dedicated single-vehicle moves to Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and regional NSW, door to door, condition-reported both ends.
