Enclosed transport

Enclosed car transport

Fully covered, closed-frame transport for the cars that warrant it. The tier above our open trays, for hypercars, concours collectables and anything irreplaceable.

For the cars where nothing gets to touch them.

We move most cars on our open low-angle trays, and for the vast majority that is exactly the right call: fast, direct, and every bit as careful. Enclosed is the tier above, for the handful where the journey itself is the risk. A concours car with original paint. A hypercar worth more than the house it is parked at. A restoration that took three years and cannot take a stone chip. For those, closed-frame removes road grime, weather, insects and attention from the equation entirely.

HaulKing's closed-frame transport carries the car inside a fully covered, hard-sided body. No wind, no rain, no dust, no cameras at the lights. The car goes in clean and comes out exactly as it went, having travelled in the automotive equivalent of a private room. Not sure it is warranted? Compare it honestly against open transport before you book.

What enclosed transport gives you

  • Total protection: hard sides and a solid roof keep weather, road debris and dust off the car for the whole journey
  • Low, gentle loading: a hydraulic low-entry ramp means even the lowest hypercar loads without touching down
  • Discretion: what's inside stays private, which matters as much as protection for a lot of our clients
  • Soft-strap securing: wheel-only tie-downs and padded points inside the frame, checked before the door closes
  • One operator, door to door: the same person loads, drives and unloads, with a photo condition report both ends

When it's worth it

New deliveries and auction wins that shouldn't arrive road-dirty. Concours and show cars. Interstate moves where an open trip means a thousand kilometres of weather. Anything where the car's condition, or its privacy, is worth protecting properly. If you're asking whether a car warrants enclosed transport, it usually does, and we'll tell you honestly if it doesn't.

Inside the crown trailer

The door closes. That's the point.

A Lamborghini going into the enclosed body, soft-strapped through the wheels, before the curtain comes down and the outside world stops existing for the trip.

Loaded and secured, wheels only

Two levels of protection

Choose how it travels.

Every car gets soft straps, padded points and a photo condition report. The choice is how much comes between it and the road.

Questions

Good to know.

What's the difference between enclosed and open transport?

Open transport carries the car on an exposed tilt tray; enclosed transport carries it inside a fully covered, hard-sided body. Enclosed keeps weather, road debris, dust and prying eyes off the car for the entire journey, which is why it's the standard for hypercars, concours cars and anything irreplaceable.

Can a very low car be loaded into an enclosed transporter?

Yes. Our enclosed loading uses a low hydraulic ramp with a shallow approach angle, so even slammed hypercars load without the nose or sill touching down. Send a photo when you book and we'll confirm the setup.

Is enclosed transport available interstate?

Yes, and it's where enclosed earns its keep. A Sydney-to-Melbourne or Sydney-to-Brisbane run means a thousand-plus kilometres of weather and road grime on an open truck; enclosed removes all of it, door to door, on a dedicated basis.

Do you handle transport for dealers and collectors on account?

We do. Premium dealers, collectors and specialist workshops use us for enclosed movements on agreed terms, with the discretion and condition reporting those relationships need. See our trade accounts page or call the operator directly.
