The North Shore hides more classic and collector cars than it ever shows — Jaguars and 911s that leave the garage twice a year, restorations heading to specialists, estates being settled with a car nobody has started since 2019. Moving a non-runner that's been asleep for years is delicate work: seized brakes, flat-spotted tyres, fuel you don't want anywhere near a hot exhaust. We do it gently, with wheel dollies and no ego.
The geography does its best to complicate things. Steep battle-axe blocks in Mosman and Cremorne, driveways that hairpin down to water level, and the Pacific Highway's peak-hour crawl from Chatswood to Hornsby for breakdown response.

Yes, and slowly is the trick. Seized brakes and flat-spotted tyres call for wheel dollies and a patient winch, not force. We photograph everything before it moves.
Can you get a car up a steep Mosman driveway?
Steep battle-axe blocks are routine here. Sometimes the answer is a controlled winch to the street rather than driving the tray down. We'll assess it on arrival, not guess on the phone.
Do you take cars across the bridge to dealers in the East?
Constantly. Cross-harbour transfers between North Shore homes and Eastern Suburbs dealers or Inner West specialist workshops are one of our standard runs.
